On Thursday, the Christmas market in Breitscheidplatz square Berlin, held a memorial to commemorate the victims of the 2016 truck attack, which killed 12 people and injured many others. Berlin Mayor Michael Mueller also laid a candle, and church bells rang 12 times to honour the victims.
