The U.S. House of Representatives approved a $1.4 trillion spending package on Tuesday to avert a partial government shutdown until at least September 2020, which would also increase the tobacco purchasing age to 21, and repeal several of the Affordable Care Act’s taxes. It will now go to the Senate.
