Temporary emergency room closures on the rise across Nova Scotia

Between 2014 and the first three months of 2018, just under half of the emergency rooms in Nova Scotia — 18 of 37 — were forced to temporarily close, often as a result of a lack of doctors or nurses. As Alexander Quon explains, ER closures are on the rise.
