An emergency warning remained in place for residents near Perth on Dec. 14, as a bushfire continued to threaten lives and properties in Australia. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services told residents in coastal towns north of Perth on Saturday that they were in danger and needed to “act immediately to survive” the fire.
