Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland recounted the moment she knew an amended CUSMA trade pact was going to be signed, adding the lead up to the actual signing earlier Tuesday was sometimes a case of “boy who cried wolf.” She added she is still hopeful the overall agreement will eventually be ratified by all three countries.
