During a press conference announcing House Democrat support of the revised United States-Canada-Mexico (USMCA) trade deal, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said it was not a “coincidence” that the announcement happened on the same day as the unveiling of the articles of impeachment against U.S. President Donald Trump, but that the trade deal is coming to a close and a decision had to be made.
