Merkel says there is more work to do on Ukraine, as she cites ‘momentum’

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said there was goodwill at a summit in Paris on Monday aimed at advancing efforts to restore peace to eastern Ukraine, though much work remained to be done. She said this at a news conference in Paris, where she spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after bilateral talks with Ukraine.
