A 34-year-old British woman, Audrey Mash, was revived in Spain following a six-hour cardiac arrest brought on by severe hypothermia, in what doctors from Barcelona’s Vall d’Hebron Hospital described as a rare worldwide feat on Dec. 5. One of the doctors at the public hospital told reporters it was an exceptional case and the longest documented cardiac arrest in Spain.
