Ontario’s Minister of Education Stephen Lecce addressed media on Friday about the escalating tensions between the provincial government and public secondary school teachers during bargaining negotiations. He said that the government learned of a potential for further job action in the coming weeks by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation union leaders. Ontario secondary school teachers went on a one-day strike on Dec. 4.
