On Friday in the House of Commons, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer delivered a speech on the 30th anniversary of the Ecole Polytechnique massacre, saying that it is “unacceptable” that violence against women is still an issue in Canada, and that Canadians must be proactive in supporting women’s rights.
