On Monday, protesters in Madrid, Spain blocked a road near the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) and called for direct action from world leaders. Blanca Lagunas, a member of the activist group Extinction Rebellion, said that they are giving leaders an ultimatum and are asking them to “find real solutions” to the climate crisis. Demonstrations continued on Tuesday.
