As temperatures continue to drop, more and more of Montreal’s homeless are looking to come in from the cold. As of Monday night, 150 beds will open at the former Royal Victoria site as a spillover refuge when the other shelters are full. As Global’s Tim Sargeant explains, the shelter will have an entire floor earmarked for women only.
