Canadian Premiers on pharmacare: ‘the federal government needs to play a larger role’

At a news conference following the Premiers meeting in Toronto on Monday, Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe discussed the importance of country-wide pharmacare, with Ball stating that the federal government would need to play a larger role in the potential development of a long-term, sustainable pharmacare program for Canadians.
