Halifax police issue public apology to black community, announce development of action plan

On Friday, Halifax’s chief of police, Daniel Kinsella, issued a formal apology to Nova Scotia’s black community, and addressed areas where the regional police will work to improve their relationship, including establishing an advisory committee in 2020.
