Veteran Chinese-Canadian politician says he was improperly detained in China

Former B.C. Liberal MLA Richard Lee says that he when he travelled to Shanghai, he was detained and searched. He was accused of endangering China’s national security, and officials confiscated and examined his B.C. government Blackberry. He believes he was blacklisted by China’s government for commemorating the Tiananmen Square massacre.
