A rare portrait of Austrian classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was put up for auction in Paris, France, on Wednesday, and is expected to fetch up to $1.32 million USD. Astrid Centner-d’Oultremont, head of the Old Master’s department at Christie’s Paris auction house, says that the 1770 portrait contains original sheet music that may have been composed by Mozart at the time the painting was created.
