Violence escalates as Iraqi protesters clash with security forces

Demonstrators clashed with security forces in Baghdad, Iraq, on Wednesday. Police used tear gas against protesters, who threw rocks and created barricades as they continued to fight state corruption. Three more protesters were killed overnight, bringing the death toll across Iraq to 344 since protests began on October 1st.
