Canadian Federation of Agriculture President Mary Robinson said Tuesday that the strike by CN Rail workers did “inflict pain” on farmers, saying it would likely take another four days to address the backlog that resulted. She also said they haven’t seen indication the federal government would put in place a way to help those impacted by the CN strike.
