Open Arms, a Spanish rescue ship carrying 62 Central and West African migrants, docked on Tuesday morning in the Italian port of Taranto. The migrants were rescued last week when they were found floating in a rubber dinghy in the Mediterranean. According to the International Organization for Migration, there have been nearly 1000 deaths on the Mediterranean migration routes this year.
