Legal challenge begins for federal compensation of Indigenous children

The federal government is appealing the compensation for thousands of Indigenous children who were wrongly removed from their families by the child welfare system. As Abigail Bimman reports, it’s not the government is refusing to pay, but rather, it claims it’s trying to work out the most fair and equitable way to do it.
