The Italian Coast Guard released dramatic footage on Monday of a young girl being rescued after a boat carrying migrants capsized near the island of Lampedusa in southern Italy. The girl’s mother and father were also saved, and the coast guard has said that 149 people were rescued on Saturday after the vessel was reported in distress. Up to 20 people are still unaccounted for.
