Two International Space Station astronauts completed a spacewalk on Friday to perform work that was “never done before in the vacuum of space,” according to NASA. Andrew Morgan of NASA and Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency worked outside the space station to repair the cooling system on a cosmic ray detector, while two engineers controlled a robotic arm from inside.
