During the third day of the congressional impeachment hearings in Washington, D.C., on U.S. President Donald Trump, former National Security Council aide Timothy Morrison reaffirmed in an opening statement that he does not know who the whistle blower is, nor does he “intend to speculate” who this person might be. Morrison also called Russia a “failing” but “dangerous” world power, to which the U.S. must aide Ukraine in fighting.
