California governor criticizes ‘lack of leadership’ by Trump, Congress over gun control after school shooting

California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday called the lack of action by President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on gun control following the school shooting in Santa Clarita, saying they had shown a “pathetic lack of leadership.”
