Taylor Jr., who served as chargé d’affaires for Ukraine under the Donald Trump administration, revealed before the U.S. House Intelligence Committee new information delivered to him by a staffer, who claims to have overheard a phone call in July of 2019 between Gordon D. Sondland, U.S. Ambassador to the European Union, and Donald Trump relating to the latter’s alleged desire to have Ukraine investigate Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.
