Day of the Dead: Meaning and traditions in Mexican culture

The beginning of November marks the Day of the Dead or Día de Muertos. A celebration in Mexican culture to remember those who have passed and to help in their spiritual journey. Owner of La Mesita restaurant in Peterborough, Martin Carbajal, was in studio to talk about Day of Dead traditions and about the ofrenda, a display to honour and guide spirits.
