Protecting yourself from the flu season

It’s that time of year again. Local pharmacies and health care providers have begun offering the flu shot to try and fend off the dreaded influenza bug. It’s too early to tell what this flu season will bring, but local health officials are advising residents to get the vaccine as soon as possible.
