Regional public health departments sounds alarm over Montrealers’ recreational screen time

The study, released on Tuesday, finds that 21 per cent of 6th graders and 16 per cent of adults spend more than 4 hours per day glued to a screen. The public health department qualifies this as “intense” screen time that can lead to poor physical and mental health as well as poor sleep. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
