The study, released on Tuesday, finds that 21 per cent of 6th graders and 16 per cent of adults spend more than 4 hours per day glued to a screen. The public health department qualifies this as “intense” screen time that can lead to poor physical and mental health as well as poor sleep. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
