Canadian author on the science of adventuring

Award-winning author and adventurer Kate Harris comes to Peterborough as the 2019 Jack Matthews Fellow, courtesy of The Canadian Canoe Museum, Lakefield College School and Trent University. Her first book “Lands of Lost Borders” is topping numerous must-read lists, and her work has garnered the attention of Canadian Geographic and Best American Essays.
