Trump says U.S. has helped lead fight on ISIS, even though other nations geographically closer to territories

Following his announcement that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed as part of a U.S. military raid, President Donald Trump said that Russia “likes” that the U.S. kills terrorists because the country is situated closer to ISIS territories than the United States, and that other nations who are situated closer should help fight terrorism.
