A US soldier remained silent as the withdrawal of US forces from northern Syria was called “the biggest betrayal in […] history,” footage taken in Qamishli, north Syria, shows. Hoshang Hasan, who describes himself as a journalist and has been reporting in north and east Syria, was following behind a US military vehicle on the M4 highway, heading east, away from the Kurdish-controlled city of Qamishli. “We will never forget,” Hasan shouts at a serviceman in the vehicle.
