Wolf Solkin is a 96-year-old WWII veteran. He is one of the 120 veterans living at the Veteran’s Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The hospital housed 400 veterans in 2016, when the Federal Government handed the hospital over to the province. Since then, Solkin, the main plaintiff in a class action lawsuit against the Federal and Provincial Governments says the level of care he and others at the hospital have received has declined significantly. Global’s Amanda Jelowicki visited Solkin on Friday.
