Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau told reporters on Tuesday in Fredericton, N.B. that a re-elected Liberal government would support an abortion clinic in Fredericton that could be forced to close its doors without the support of the province, saying he would talk to Premier Blaine Higgs to remind him of the federal government’s ability to enforce obligations to fund out-of-hospital abortions under the Canada Health Act.
