Three days into the Turkey’s military offensive in northeastern Syria, Kurdish forces are struggling to guard a camp that holds tens of thousands of ISIS prisoners, including a few dozen Canadians. Western countries, including Canada, have been unwilling to take back their citizens. And as Jeff Semple explains, fears are rising all these people could be released.
