Hamilton Police Det. Sgt. Steve Bereziuk said on Oct. 8 that a ground search for the weapon used in the murder of 14-year-old Devan Selvey, who was stabbed outside of Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School on Monday, was conducted in the morning, leading to the recovery of the alleged weapon.
