When asked about Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer calling Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau a “phony” and a “fraud” during the Oct. 7 English language federal leaders debate, Trudeau said say he was “happy” the debate “talked so much about the environment,” allowing Canadians to draw a comparison to the parties’ differing stances on climate change.
