Leaders’ Debate: Trudeau says Canada has no ‘defense assets’ in northern Syria in wake of Trump announcement

Speaking to reporters following the English-language leaders’ debate Monday evening, Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau told reporters, in the wake of news U.S. President Donald Trump had authorized a Turkish invasion of Northern Syria, that Canada currently has no “defence assets” in the region.
