Quebec backtracks on plans to ban ‘Bonjour-Hi’

The Quebec government is re-thinking plans to legislate the popular “bonjour-hi” greeting, saying that it will encourage the use of a unilingual French greeting instead. As Global’s Gloria Henriquez explains, the change of heart comes on the heels of a new poll which suggests the majority of Quebecers think of Montreal as a bilingual city.
