Federal Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer said on Oct. 7 that there were no discussions between his team and the Ontario Conservatives regarding settling the CUPE bargaining for education workers, which ultimately led to no strike action. Scheer also said it “was quite disgusting” that Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau tried “to politicize” education, in his opinion.
