Protesters were waiting for federal Conservative leader Andrew Scheer in Peterborough Saturday but they never got the chance to meet him.
During a brief campaign stop Scheer ducked in the back door of a popular pizza restaurant, met Peterborough-Kawartha candidate Michael Skinner and then left the city.
As Dan Nyznik reports, Scheer’s day started much differently with the grand opening of Wutai Shan Buddhist temple in Bethany.
