Dave Pogue is the founder of Team55 Tackles Suicide Awareness in Peterborough.
Since 2013 he has worked with community organizations, mental health agencies, sports teams, sponsors and more to help reduce deaths of Canadians by suicide.
“Friday Night Lights” youth & sport night has become a signature fundraising and awareness event, helping create an environment open to discussion of mental health and even suicide. Funds from this and other Team55 events support special suicide prevention and response programs with Canadian Mental Health Association Kawartha Pine Ridge Association.
