NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said on Oct. 3 that people should have the right to make a choice to have a medically-assisted death and “die with dignity.” Singh said that given a recent Quebec court decision, there are concerns about the limitations currently surrounding the criteria for a medically-assisted death.
