U.S. Representative Joe Neguse said on Sept. 27 that H.R. 1, the For the People Act of 2019, is “one of the centrepiece” bills the Democrats passed in the House of Representatives over nine months. The bill addresses voter access, election integrity and security and political spending, Democrats said.
