NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh confirmed Tuesday in Burnaby, B.C. that he had spoken with Liberal leader Justin Trudeau in the wake of the instances of racist makeup, but would not divulge what was said reiterating he wanted a private conversation. Singh also said it “didn’t matter if he tells me anything,” and said it’s Canadians who need to know Trudeau understands the pain racist makeup can cause.
