NDP leader Jagmeet Singh announced his party’s plan for government-funded dental care for people with household incomes under $70,000 as part of the universal-health care strategy on Sept. 18 during a campaign visit in Sudbury, Ont., pointing to the problem that currently, one in three Canadians have no dental coverage at all according to Singh.
