Federal Election 2019: Scheer says he’s monitoring Hong Kong protests

Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer wouldn’t say if elected his party would offer asylum or permanent citizenship to Hong Kong protesters, saying they were monitoring the situation, but said his party would always defend human rights.
