Independent MP Jody Wilson-Raybould spoke Tuesday about a report by Global News that showed she had claimed approximately $125,000 in the government’s designated traveller program over the past four years and said she was “grateful” her partner was able to fly to Ottawa to support her. She added that it had been “incredibly difficult” to be in Ottawa during the past eight months and her husband had been her “rock” during this period of time.
