British Airways CEO trades barbs with pilots union over strike

British Airways Chief Executive Alex Cruz called a British Airline Pilots Association strike, which forced the cancellation of 1,700 flights to and from London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports on Monday and Tuesday, “cynical actions” that would only “punish” customers.
