For the last two years, the Jeanne-Mance softball community has been fighting to keep it’s cherished North Field alive. Last year, the City demolished the field to the dismay of users. On Friday, they took the City of Montreal to court, saying that the borough broke it’s own rules when it leveled the playing field. As Global’s Brayden Jagger Haines explains, their case will only be heard in January.
