First official death in Indian Kashmir protests prompts tighter security in Srinagar

Indian officials said on Sept. 4 that there has been the first official death during the Indian Kashmir protests, which has prompted tighter security in Srinagar. Although there have been five civilian deaths in the past month, the death of Asrar Ahmad Khan is the first confirmed death connected to the protests.
